A team player capable of collaborating effectively with design, production, and sales teams to bring the best products to market. This role holds sole responsibility for all color approvals and strike-offs.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Daily Factory Communication: Review and communicate with the factory daily regarding any strike-offs received.
• Change Management: Outline necessary changes and involve production or design as required.
• Licensor Compliance: Follow any licensor requirements for strike-off approvals.
• Meeting Initiation: Schedule meetings with design, production, and sales teams when necessary.
• Quality Assurance: Review pre-production samples against previously approved strike-offs to ensure quality.
• Team Leadership: Lead team meetings to review strike-offs, analyze what worked and what didn’t, and learn from these insights for future improvements.
• Deadline Awareness: Maintain awareness of production deadlines to ensure timely delivery by closely working with production and design teams.
• Seasonal Color Cards: Create and distribute seasonal color cards to the team.
• Store Visits: Regularly shop stores, documenting all product details, fabrics, countries of origin, and retail prices. Conduct competitive shops.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and share competitive shop reports with design, licensing, production, and sales teams.
• Production Support: Assist the production team with any backlogs as needed.
• Assortment Alignment: Prepare Assortment Alignment CADs and Buyer Boards for Walmart and pass them to the sales team for finalization.
• Product Care and Accountability: Take pride in the final product execution, demonstrating a strong sense of accountability.
• Seamless Communication: Ensure seamless communication with factory, design, and production teams.
• Timely Review: Review all strike-offs the same day to prevent delays affecting delivery.
• Team Education: Educate the design team on effective and ineffective practices.
