We are looking for a full-time 1st shift Maintenance Technician. Salary ranges from $25hr to $30h based on experience. This position will be responsible of ensuring maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of grounds, facilities, and manufacturing equipment is functioning in a safe effective manner.

What You Will Do:
  • Ensures safe operation of machinery, mechanical and electrical systems by completing maintenance and preventive maintenance requirements, following diagrams, blueprints, electrical schematics, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions and written PM instructions.
  • Locates sources of problems by troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems in operation.
  • Makes repairs to various types of systems including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic.
  • Use rules, calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools and various other tools to get the job done quickly and safely.
  • Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.
  • Ability to use computer systems to troubleshoot PLC controls or the ability to learn such practices.
  • Work with Manufacturing Engineering to complete in-house projects both mechanically and electrically including the building of electrical panels from provided schematics.
  • General fabrication skills, and some welding.
  • Conserve’s maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
  • Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Any other work assigned as needed.
What We Are Looking For:
  • Must be able to troubleshoot and repair equipment of all types.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must be able utilize a computer/tablet to complete Preventative Maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Must be able to read hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics.
  • The ability to utilize ladder logic in PLCs.
  • Must be able to read/write in English to accurately exchange information.
  • Ability to read and understand manufactured parts and component drawings.
  • Utilize normal hand tools to complete repairs.
  • Ability to use measuring devices such as calipers, tape measures, and drop indicators.
  • Ability to use an electrical meter to read voltages and take amp readings.
  • Ability to utilize mobile equipment such as scissor lifts, articulated boom lifts and forklifts.
  • Have some understanding of general science terms i.e., volume, temperature, thermal heat transfer.
  • Basic math skills will be needed.
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish preferred
  • Automotive or Aerospace experience preferred.
