Salary: $2,183 - $2,292 semi-monthly *Salary may be commensurate of education and/or experience

Job Location: This position is with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, Division of Environmental Quality, Air Pollution Control Program, and will be located at 1659 E. Elm Street, Jefferson City, MO.

What you’ll do:

• Coordinate with team members in the Section and enter all necessary data into the Integrated Compliance Information System for Air (ICIS-Air) to ensure compliance with EPA’s State Review Framework data obligations.
• Coordinate with team members in the Section and Program to fulfill various data needs and ensure various databases are accurate and up to date.
• Provide data reports to team members and managers from ICIS-Air, ECHO (EPA's Enforcement and Compliance History Online), and other databases.
• Perform State Review Framework data verification activities.

All you need for success:

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of experience analyzing and interpreting data, and managing databases. (Substitutions may be allowed.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Missouri Air Conservation regulations.
• A team member who can inspire and is passionate about protecting Missouri’s air quality resources.
• A team member who creates and nurtures a performance-based culture of continuous improvement, is passionate about data informed decision-making, scientific problem solving, customer service, and maximizing resources across the team.
• Ability to build effective relationships and effectively participate on a team.
• Proficiency in managing, reviewing, and editing technical databases.
• Ability to occasionally travel in and out of state.
• Exercise good judgment and ability to make timely and effective long-term decisions.
• Training, certification, and/or education in continuous process improvement programs such as Lean Six Sigma and similar programs is preferred.
