WHO WE ARE

Meeting Street Schools – Jasper & Beaufort (MSJB) is a pioneering tuition-free public charter school serving Jasper, Beaufort, and Hampton Counties in South Carolina. Founded with a commitment to ensuring that all students have access to high-quality education, regardless of their socio-economic background, we believe in a holistic approach to learning that focuses on the whole child. Our mission is to empower students to reach their full potential and prepare them for a successful future.

We currently serve students in grades K-1 and will be adding a grade level each year. We currently serve lower elementary and are enrolling students now for the upcoming 2024-25 school year.

Qualifications

• Ed Reform Experience: Familiarity with charter school policies, operations, funding, and family engagement
• Education Leadership Experience: Minimum of 5 years in educational leadership, ideally with direct experience in a charter school leader role, with a track record of success. (*Note: Those who currently serve as an Executive Director or President/CEO of a mission-driven organization that is not a charter school, but have experience engaging diverse populations in a direct service organization are encouraged to apply. )
