Production Worker
RESPONSIBLE TO: Production Supervisor
FUNCTION: Sewing a variety of materials in various patterns. Assembles products according to process engineering and/or specifications.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
1. Use of a commercial sewing machine to perform the following:
a. Sew materials in a safe and efficient manner
b. Maintain high quality
c. Follows specific instructions given by supervisory staff.
2. Changes needles as required.
3. Rethreads machines as required.
4. Performs required quality checks with the Quality Inspector.
5. Receives raw materials at various stages of completion.
6. Assembles components according to supervisor’s instruction using various tools such as glue gun, snap press, jigs and fixtures.
7. Records counts and/or daily tallies on production sheets.
8. Assures accuracy of counts and quality of assembled goods.
9. Communicates issues to Supervisor.
10. Performs other duties as needed or assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICAITONS:
High school diploma or GED preferred. Basic working knowledge of sewing machines desired, but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
