Hackbarth Delivery Service is Hiring a CDL Driver Class A Near Jacksonville, FL
Hackbarth Delivery Service, Inc is a leading logistics and distribution company committed to delivering excellence in service. We take pride in our dedicated team, and we're looking for a Class A CDL Driver to join us in our mission to efficiently handle and distribute goods to our customers.
The ideal candidate will make local deliveries and work as a backup linehaul driver as needed. Additional duties will include receiving, sorting freight, and other tasks as assigned by the Terminal Manager. Must have valid CDL Class A license, a strong work ethic, and excellent organizational skills.
Available Shift: Sunday - Thursday / 7:00pm to 4:00am EST
Payrate: $1000.00 - $1500.00 /week
Key responsibilities:
- Nightly Linehaul Driver.
Two Years' Line Haul Driver CDL- Class A required!
Must be willing to submit to and pass a Background Check, MVR and Drug and Alcohol Screen.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English.
- Must be able to sort and receive freight.
- Must possess a valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Must have 12 months previous tractor trailer driving experience.
- Must have the ability to read, write and understand English, and perform simple mathematical calculations with mental ability to handle receipts, read maps, road signs, maintain logs, etc.
- Must have the ability to properly operate a handheld device when required.
- Must have working knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems.
- Must have knowledge of DOT regulations governing safe driving, hours of service, inspection and maintenance, and extended periods of time.
- Must meet or exceed the medical standards of the US Department of Transportation.
