Description
Solers Research Group, Inc., located in Central Florida, provides sound instructional design in developing training system products for the Department of Defense, Federal and State governments, and commercial organizations.
Solers Research Group seeks a self-motivated, driven, highly organized part-time Database Architect. This position will support a team of Instructional System Designers (ISD), graphic artists, and courseware developers in developing U. S. Navy electronic courseware and operation on a Moodle Learning Management System (LMS). Tasking will include installing and setting up MySQL and Moodle LMS on new servers. The Database Architect will be expected to write, review, and maintain technical documentation such as user manuals, product specifications, and training materials. Performance of other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
For employment, candidates must be U.S. citizens based in the Jacksonville, Florida area, and will be subject to a comprehensive background check.
Requirements
Skills and Experience with the following is required:
At least 2 years of experience with MySQL or SQL. At least 2 years of experience in information technology.
Experience with Moodle LMS is a plus.
