Registered Dietician Position Summary

The Registered Dietician focuses on meeting the nutritional needs of residents. Their role also includes the following responsibilities: 

• Purchasing of food & supplies within budget, food preparation, services, and storage.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
• Oversee menus, including provision of meal and supplements in accordance with resident care plans. Monitor regular and therapeutic diets.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and participate in QAPI as needed.
• Perform any other additional tasks as assigned by the Administrator and/or VP of Nutritional Services.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications.

Registered Dietician Requirements

• Must be a Registered Dietician meeting guidelines set by the State Regulatory Agency
• Skilled or Long-Term Care experience preferred
