Minutemen is Hiring a Material Handler Near Jackson, OH
Now hiring Material Handlers for a company in Jackson Center for Day Shift and Night Shift.
Day Shift: 5am - 5:10pm, $17.25 per hour.
Night Shift: 5pm - 5:10am, $18.75 per hour.
Weekly pay.
The Material Handler is responsible for receiving, distribution, stacking and/or storage of all raw materials or finished goods in a safe and efficient manner.
Job Duties:
- Safely operate clamps, forklifts, label lifts, and floor jacks.
- Scan materials and enter data when required.
- Run scrap reports and consolidate label supplies as needed.
- Ensure that the Stock Rotation system is followed.
- Visually inspect raw materials for damage, contamination, or discoloration.
- Collect resin samples from rail cars and bulk trucks.
- Document incoming shipments and movements as required.
- Communicate effectively and appropriately with Production, Quality, and Group Leaders.
- Comply with all safety policies and procedures.
- Any other duty requested by a supervisor.
Requirements:
- Previous forklift or heavy equipment experience.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds throughout entire shift.
- Thrive in a fast paced environment.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
