Insight Global is Hiring a Security technician Near Jackson, MS
One of our large national security clients is seeking an experienced Security Field Service Technician. This technician will be traveling to different client sites within a three hour radius from Jackson, Mississippi.
On a daily basis, the service technician will be responsible for installing, programming, testing, performing maintenance and system updates on various security devices such as Access Control, CCTV and other security alarm systems.
Given that this role requires travel, a company vehicle will be provided, so this individual will be required to hold a valid drivers' license and be able to pass a background check and a drug screening.

4-5 years' experience as a service technician
2 years' experience working within security industry in a technical role
Understanding of low voltage / experience working with voltage meters, camera tools, IP Schemes
2-3 certifications : CLVT, CLVST, CFAT, CSST or system certifications (Lenel, Genetec, AMAG, etc.)
Experience working within different security systems : Lenel, Genetec, Software House, AMAG, DMP, Bosch, Milestone
Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude : Work with variety of hand and power tools such as a drill, screwdriver, wire stripper, etc and ability to read blueprints and drawings
Valid drivers' license (company vehicle provided)
