Job Description:

Director of Nursing Key Responsibilities: – Veterans Home Style!

• Commander of Care: Oversee and manage daily operations of the nursing department like a decorated general leading troops to victory.

• Regulations Ranger: Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations – because in our ranks, following orders is a must!

• Standards Sergeant: Maintain high standards of care, ensuring our service is always top-notch, no soldier left behind.

• Platoon Promoter: Foster a team-oriented, collaborative, learning work culture – building camaraderie and esprit de corps.

• Leadership Lieutenant: Provide leadership to all nursing and non-nursing staff, inspiring them to be the best squad in the field.

• Concerns Commander: Handle resident and family concerns with professionalism and empathy, turning challenges into mission accomplished.

• Jack of all Trades Operative: Other duties as assigned – because every good officer knows how to adapt and overcome!

Director of Nursing Qualifications – Reporting for Duty!

• Utah RN License: Got a current RN license that's valid in Utah? That’s your ticket!

• Education Extra: BSN preferred, MSN preferred – because more knowledge means more power!

• Leadership Veteran: Minimum of three years of nursing leadership experience, preferably in long-term care or similar settings. You've been there, done that, and got the battle scars to prove it.

• Service Stars: Military veterans move to the front of the line – your service background is a big plus!

• Compliance Captain: Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance – you know the rules of engagement inside out.

• Communication Commando: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. You're a pro at rallying the troops and keeping the peace.

• Team Builder: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain a positive, team-oriented environment – think of it as creating your own band of sisters (and brothers).
