Shift: Mon - Fri, 8 AM to 5 PM
Pay: 21.19/hr
Job Overview:
- The Banking Ops Specialist II supports routine day-to-day operations of consumer and commercial banking.
- Under moderate supervision, this job performs administrative/transactional banking tasks such as assisting with service transactions, supporting multi-channel inbound referrals, verifying daily proofs and processing payments that sometimes require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures.
- Responsible for opening, funding, and performing maintenance for new accounts.
- Sign into systems, check email (throughout day), review workflow for daily assignments, review all operating systems, team huddles, begin daily tasks based on assigned workflow.
- Communicate daily via email, IM, Skype and on phone.
- Opening complex accounts in the EARs system
- Answers service and referral calls and responds to customer questions and assists with service transactions.
- Verifies that daily proofs and reconciliations are compliant with corporate accounting and control policies.
- Validates accuracy of payments, tickets and online entries.
- Provides solutions to customer, branch or bank inquiries and escalates issues as necessary.
- Considers multiple resources and records when investigating customer inquiries.
- Enters transactions into CRT/PC and balances general ledger accounts.
- Ensures work is properly safeguarded and controlled in accordance with banking policies and procedures.
- Assists with subject matter expert project as requested.
- New Account experience working in Branch

- Minimum High School Diploma
- Two (2) years branch experience
- Branch (banking) experience. Understand the account opening process.
- Know how to open and fund accounts: such as checking, savings, money market and CDs.
