We are a Small Non-Union Concrete installation firm located in Blue Island. Our projects are throughout the city, not limited to one area. We are looking for a EXPERIENCED Concrete Manager to oversee our jobsites and to be able to maintain good relations with employees, suppliers and clients. We can provide a proper training customized to our company needs.
Responsibilities to include but not limited to:
-Coordinating and scheduling daily work plan and tasks for the employees
-Enforce safety protocols to ensure job site meets OSHA safety standards
-Supervise and train workers as needed
-Supervise the use of machinery and equipment
-Managing subcontractor relationships, material supplier relationships and the coordination of city inspection processes
-Performing other duties as assigned
Requirements:
-Experience and knowledge in a concrete construction
-Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints
-Ability to calculate and order concrete
-Strong communication and organization skills
-Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
