The Four Seasons Resort O’ahu at Ko Olina is looking for a Steward who has a passion for excellence and the spirit of aloha.

The Steward reports to the Executive Steward/Assistant Executive Steward & Executive Chef and is responsible for the cleaning and organization of all food and beverage kitchen and breakdown areas and machinery. The Steward cleans, polishes, and handles all cutlery, utensils, and glassware items. This person is also responsible for the disposal of all food and beverage refuse. In addition the steward handles all cleaning chemicals pertaining to their respective areas.

We are looking for an energetic, experienced customer service professional with excellent interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, have a passion for service and hospitality. Applicants will be a willing team player, comfortable with computer systems and willing to accept assignments on as need basis, in order to promote team work. Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the cleaning and organization of all food and beverage kitchen and breakdown areas and machinery.
• Cleans, polishes, and handles all cutlery, utensils, and glassware items.
• This person is also responsible for the disposal of all food and beverage refuse. In addition the steward handles all cleaning chemicals pertaining to their respective areas.
• Handling & Pushing of Hot Boxes and Food to Banquet events
• Helping maintain inventory counts
• Maintaining bqt equipment, chafing dishes, kitchen equipment

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Candidate must be fluent in English, both verbal and written.
• Previous experience in a similar position
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Service Passion
• Requires attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Successful candidates must possess legal work authorization in the United States.

Pay

The Hourly Rate for this position is $28.06 USD.
