Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Project Accountant at our Irving, TX location. The Senior Project Accountant will be responsible for overseeing and managing the financial aspects of our roofing and restoration projects. This includes budgeting, cost tracking, financial analysis, and reporting. The Senior Project Accountant will work closely with Project Managers, Estimators, Clients and Insurance Carriers to ensure accurate and timely financial information is provided.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including project cost accounting
• Experience in financial management and reporting
• Experience with insurance scopes and project management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Quickbooks and other accounting software
• Experience with Job Progress a plus
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Experience in the construction or roofing industry is a plus
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a plus
