Job Title: Client Service Associate

What you will bring to the firm:

You have a relentless drive to learn and grow as part of a high performing financial planning team. You have a passion for helping clients achieve their goals and are constantly looking for ways to add value, provide better service, and build a deeper relationship.

What you will do:

  • Generate and process paperwork for account opening, asset movement, and account maintenance.
  • Facilitate underwriting and onboarding for new insurance clients.
  • Support Private Wealth Advisors and Plan Analysts with client servicing requests.
  • Work directly with clients to answer questions on their investment portfolios and insurance policies.
  • Collaborate with other team members to work towards quarterly goals to help improve and refine firm operations.

EXPERIENCE:

  • A strong background in high touch client service.
  • Experience helping customers or clients navigate paperwork in a complex and regulated environment.
  • At least two years of transferrable work experience.
  • Preference for: previous experience with insurance operations (underwriting and case management, policy service requests, etc…)
  • Preference for: previous experience with retail investment operations (account opening, asset movement, account maintenance, etc…)

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

  • Process oriented and attentive to detail.
  • Problem solves to navigate complex client situations.
  • Is curious and has a habit of acting on it to learn independently.
  • Takes full ownership to ensure task completion and strong follow up.
  • Strong organization to effectively manage and prioritize tasks delegated from multiple team members.
  • Strong ability to communicate across a variety of mediums including in person, email, phone, and asynchronous communication such as documenting client files.
  • Preference for: working knowledge of the U.S. tax system and how it applies to different types of accounts and transactions.
  • Preference for: licensed with FINRA series 7 and 63/65, and/or California life insurance license.

Compensation: $60,000-$80,000 (depending on experience)
