On-Site Proofreader (Hybrid)

This position is Proofreader. The hourly pay range is $20-26/hour. Schedule is 3 days in the office, on-site at our headquarters location and 2 days working from home.

We are looking for a dedicated, personable, hands-on Proofreading Project Coordinator seeking a dynamic opportunity to assist the Proofreading and Production team. Successful candidates must be comfortable working with multiple departments and coworkers both virtually and on-site.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous Proofreader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for ensuring accuracy in written materials. Must work in Excel and Outlook with great proficiency and accuracy for accurate data entry and communications. Offers cross-functional support to ensure that priorities and tasks are aligned to meet department objectives and deliverables.

Duties:

- Responsible for proofreading tasks on products (mostly calendar layouts), packaging, shipping cartons, shipping documents, and similar articles to ensure that spelling, grammar, typos, and other content and/or graphic errors are corrected.

- Works in Excel, Outlook, and Monday.com to facilitate communications and update project tracking details

- Downloads, prints, and e-files electronic artwork files

-Supports coordination efforts of incoming and outgoing work, including artwork files and production samples

-Follows all protocols and processes, and completes all tasks promptly and accurately

-Any other task or duty as necessary to meet position objectives and/or to support the team

Experience and Skills required:

-Experience and proficiency in proofreading A MUST

- Must be an organized and process-oriented person, with strong attention to detail and technical skills

-Computer literate and proficient with Excel and Outlook, and able to learn Monday.com

-Experience with following standards and guidelines

- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with on-site and remote employees

- A team player with excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

Classification and Compensation:

This position is a non-exempt hourly position with a range of $20-26/hour. Base salary is one component of the total compensation for this position. Other components [may/will] include additional compensation, benefits and perks.
