SOX controls testing?
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Audit Consultant to join our team. In this remote position, you will play a key role in ensuring the effectiveness of our internal controls by performing SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) testing of various IT and operational controls.
Responsibilities
- Conduct independent IT audits, focusing on SOX compliance testing of IT and
- Develop and execute comprehensive audit programs to assess the design and operating
- Perform detailed testing procedures to identify control weaknesses and potential risks.
- Document audit findings, including test results, control deficiencies, and
- Prepare clear and concise audit reports for management and external auditors.
- Collaborate with process owners to understand controls and conduct training sessions on
- Stay up-to-date on the latest SOX regulations and best practices in IT auditing.
- Work independently with initial direction from management team.
- Meeting process owners to ensure compliance, etc.
- 10 or more years of experience in IT, with a minimum of 5 years focused on IT audit and
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or
- In-depth knowledge of SOX regulations and IT control frameworks (e.g., COBIT, COSO).
- Proven ability to independently plan, execute, and document complex IT audits.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and training skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
