OPPORTUNITIES, INC. is Hiring an IT Audit Manager Near Irvine, CA

The IT Audit Manager is responsible for assisting the Chief Audit Executive in maintaining and supervising the internal audit function within the Bank, with primary focus on Information Technology related audits. This position manages daily operations of the internal audit function including leading and conducting internal audits, coordination and oversight of audit projects outsourced to third party vendors, and assistance with the organization’s SOX testing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops, oversees and executes audit programs as directed by the Chief Audit Executive while ensuring fieldwork and work papers comply with Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) standards.
  • Evaluates the significance of audit findings and makes recommendations to management.
  • Prepares initial/final draft of audit reports.
  • Manages testing and documentation of SOX controls. Involves understanding controls and conducting performance testing on each control to ensure procedures are followed properly.
  • Assists the Chief Audit Executive in the coordination and oversight of fieldwork outsourced to third party auditors, including initial documentation requests, on-site fieldwork, report review, and work paper review.
  • Evaluates Bank operations and the control environment to identify potential areas for improvement. Identifies gaps and makes recommendations to management based on best practices.
  • Responsible for supervisory duties such as hiring, firing, performance evaluation, salary planning, coaching, training, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5 years’ experience in internal audit, assessment of internal control design and effectiveness, or SOX evaluation and testing.
  • Past supervisory experience required.
  • CIA or CISA License/certification preferred.

A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum base salary or pay for this position is $110,483 to $165,725. Actual compensation will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. A discretionary bonus and/or business line incentive may be provided, in addition to a medical and other benefits, dependent on the position.
