We are looking for an experienced, Software Quality Engineer to join our growing team. We are looking for strong talent to help us create novel life-changing digital health solutions for our users. Our software engineers are comfortable dealing with high-level specifications, working independently and in small teams, and are involved in the product process from start to finish. We need engineers who are excited to try new approaches and collectively learn the right approach to delivering the best health care experiences.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Participate in all phases of the Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC)
Develop test plans and acceptance criteria for releases based on requirements documents
Create Test Cases based on product requirements
Test Execution using Test Management tools such as JIRA, Zephyr or other ALM.
Report defects/bugs on test execution and work with the development team to re-create them or assist with their resolution
Work with QA Manager, UI/UX designers, technical team to effectively test the application and product.
Perform recurring Regression and Sanity Testing
Perform software requirements traceability analysis, and document the results in test reports
Other duties required by management
Qualifications and Experience
Knowledge of full software development and testing life cycle, QA Methodologies & best practices.
Experience with Test Management Tools such as Zephyr, Polarion or other ALM system
Experienced in using JIRA, Confluence or similar applications
Experience with API testing tools such as Postman is a plus
Experience with Automation testing tools such as Selenium or Appium is a plus
Prior experience in Hardware Testing is a plus
Prior experience with coordinating with engineers on internal/external risk assessments and audits in compliance with regulatory standards, is a plus
Experience with developing and implementing procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating precision and accuracy of products and production equipment, is a plus
Experience in meeting 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485:2016, MDR, ISO 14971:2019 and other international regulatory requirements is a plus
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work within a team environment and collaborate with other professionals
Physical requirements/Work Environment
This position primarily works in an office environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing and walking. Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required. May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking in the facilities. Some local travel is necessary; therefore, the ability to operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid Driver’s license is required.
