Location: 100% Remote
Overview: Every Turnberry consultant belongs to a practice, an internal group of consultants and leaders with shared experience and expertise. Each of these practices aligns to one of the core services Turnberry offers to clients. As a Business Analyst, you will join Turnberry's Business Transformation practice. Turnberry's Business Transformation practice is dedicated to diagnosing and addressing core business challenges including regulatory compliance, full-scale implementation, managing change and driving continuous improvement across transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Gather and document business requirements for resolving issues, enhancements, and projects
- Formulate and configure applications to meet business requirements and execute solutions that help business units achieve their strategic objectives
- Author Functional Specification Documents
- Test and track business requirements through implementation
- Analyze business strategy and user needs, document business processes, and translate business objectives into proper system requirement specifications for resolving issues, new enhancements, and new applications
- Formulate and define systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding and available IT solutions
- Interpret existing applications and business processes to identify opportunities for improvement
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field (or equivalent years of training, work experience and education)
- 1-2 years of Business Analyst experience through internships or industry experience to include:
- Experience developing and managing functional/technical specifications and test plans
- 2 years SAP experience
- Excellent documentation experience using Microsoft office, SharePoint or similar tool
- Ability to identifying process issues and suggestions for improvement
- 3 years of hands-on OTC experience
- Familiar with Microsoft Visio
- Go-live/hypercare support experience
- Experience with ServiceNow or other IT Service Management tools
- Knowledge of Agriculture Business and Industry
