System One is Hiring a Technical Writer Near Indianapolis, IN

Job Title: Technical Writer Location: Indianapolis, IN Hours/Schedule: M-F, 8 am – 5 PM Type: Contract

This client discovers and brings life-changing medicines to those who need them, improves the understanding and management of disease, and gives back to communities through philanthropy and volunteerism.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and edits standard operating procedures, user tools, training materials, glossary content and global standards.
  • Work with teams to document action plans to ensure SOP compliance, which includes writing and editing of documentation.
  • Route documentation through review and approval processes in the document management system.
  • Analyze existing documentation to ensure it is updated, reviewed, and maintained as appropriate with subject matter experts.
  • Adhere to appropriate quality and verification-including SOPs and makes recommendations on system documentation. Organize existing and new documentation.
  • If expertise in technical writing, then will need to coach and train the other document controllers on technical writing concepts and instruction.
  • Suggest appropriate formatting for documentation.
  • Serves as a point person for documentation advice and help.
  • Reports status of documentation deliverables to Lilly supervisor and Lilly team regularly.
  • Assists in the Periodic Review, Gap Assessment, and other review strategy documentation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Technical Certification or equivalent work experience
