Apollo Technology Solutions LLC is Hiring an IT Project Manager Near Indianapolis, IN
Location: Indianapolis, IN- Hybrid
Duration: 12 Months
Note:
- Only candidates currently located in IN will be considered for this position.
- Resource will be required to work onsite 3-4 days per week to ramp up and then 3 days per week ongoing.
- Manager will perform initial phone screen and then in person interviews.
Responsible for relationship management, project planning, resource management, tactical execution, and the creation and/or oversight of final project deliverables.
- Excellent communication skills required. ln this position, you will collaborate with senior management, stakeholders and the team to meet business objectives and provide professional leadership & mentorship fostering respect and trust to inspire others to pursue excellence.
- Oversee multiple projects to ensure proper management towards successful conclusion.
- Manage large enterprise-type projects that involve multiple internal stakeholders or contracted resources.
- Develop, monitor, and maintain project plans.
- Define users and project team member's roles and responsibilities on the project.
- Define user requirements, deliverables, and approvals.
- Coordinate and monitor activities of all stakeholders to ensure timelines and budgets are met.
- Communicate project status to management and project stakeholders.
- Mentor and provide guidance to lower-level Project Managers including recommending training and experience.
- Experience in IT Project Management
- Prior experience working on State of Indiana large software projects as a Senior IT PM
- Strong knowledge of information systems development life cycle, information technology, project tools and approaches to development and implementation.
- Experience with multiple methodologies including agile and waterfall
- Ability to translate technology terms and explain concepts of SDLC to program/business folks who have little to no exposure to large software projects
- Ability to work with technical team members, and other IT professionals to flesh out project plans and risk registers and overcome obstacles
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
