Our continued success relies on hiring extraordinary talent, with a passion for making a difference and eagerness to roll up the sleeves, to help us write the story of our next 100 years. HERFF JONES, DATA COORDINATOR – INDIANAPOLIS, INYOUR OPPORTUNITY:The Herff Jones Production team is looking for a Data Coordinator to join our team in Indianapolis, IN.HERE'S HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT:The Data Coordinator is responsible for extracting and managing data metrics for the business, as well as building out and structuring files. In this role you will be working with the departments to ensure the data is correct. It will take a strong focus on owning the data management for all operations of the business, as well as tracking and reporting on daily, weekly, and monthly schedules of the business’s metrics. A balance of priorities will be key to operating successfully in the role.WHAT WE WANT YOU TO ACCOMPLISH:First 90 Days:Learn the core processes for the business as well as the manufacturing organization (high level overview).Learn and take over daily reporting of metrics and the reporting of this across multiple teams.Learn to extract and analyze data from our multiple data management programs.First 180 days:Serve as one of the primary points of contact for all business data requests.Act in a supporting role with the respective staff to ensure quality data is being passed along to the business.Understand and be able to properly work through our business systems as well as with our contractors and DBA’s to pull the correct data.First 360 Days:Be able to handle all data requests and be cross trained across all aspects of data management system.Understand and be able to properly develop reporting of business data, manage all data systems, and can utilize all of them into a seamless report out for business units.WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING ON A DAILY BASIS:Working with the business to extract and analyze data they will use for their daily jobs.Update and manage data dashboards and files.Manage orders coming in from outside customers.Manage the data tables to ensure correct information is being presented to the business.Troubleshooting system inefficiencies and inaccuracies.WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE:High School Diploma required. Associate Degree is preferred.Proven success to effectively communicate (listening, writing and verbal) across all levels of an organization.Previous experience with systems such as POWER BI, WRIKE, ORACLE, Google Docs, Microsoft Forms, SharePoint, and Microsoft DynamicsSAP experience is a plus.INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED skills with Microsoft Office and learning new systems/technology with understanding some work is processed manually.Demonstrated success in data file management and ability to make complicated data from multiple sources into a clear and concise report.Excel (pivot tables/formulas).Building out of File Structure.Knowledge of formatting data for dashboards.PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:Daily activity includes but is not limited to:Reading, lifting, communicating, carrying, sitting, grasping, reaching, standing, kneeling, walking, bending, twisting.Ability to sit and work at a computer for long periods of time.Be able to occasionally lift/move up to 25 lbs.Noise levels in the work environment is usually moderate. JOIN THE BEST TEAM ON THE FIELD IN SPORT, SPIRIT & ACHIEVEMENT About Herff Jones:Indianapolis-based Herff Jones is the leading provider of graduation and educational products and services designed to inspire achievement and create memorable experiences for students.
