Certified Sprinkler Fitter Apprentices Needed for Immediate Projects in Northeast Ohio!
About Us:
We're a reputable mechanical contractor seeking Certified Sprinkler Fitter Apprentices to join our team for multiple projects in Northeast Ohio. If you're state licensed/certified and ready to start ASAP, we want to hear from you! Ideal candidates will live 2-3 hours away and be able to commute back and forth on the weekend if not local. Working 4/10s M-TH.
Certified Sprinkler Fitter Apprentice Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- 3-4 years of hands-on experience in Fire Sprinkler installation/service.
- State license/certification (preferred but not mandatory).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Tools appropriate for your trade and scope of work.
- OSHA 10 certification is a PLUS but not required.
Certified Sprinkler Fitter Apprentice Duties:
As a Certified Sprinkler Fitter with us, you'll be responsible for:
- Piping systems for various settings including attics, offices, and commercial/industrial environments.
- Installing and servicing Fire Sprinkler systems and their components to ensure proper functionality.
- Following drawings to install Fire Sprinkler systems accurately.
- Performing service and repairs on Fire Sprinkler systems.
- Demonstrating a commitment to safety regulations and practices.
- Showing an open-minded willingness for continual learning.
- Performing any other duties as assigned by management.
Certified Sprinkler Fitter Apprentice Physical Demands:
This role requires:
- Safe and effective use of general hand and power tools.
- Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 75 lbs., as well as push and pull greater than 75 lbs.
- Climbing ladders up to a height of at least 12 feet and using a man lift for services.
- Exposure to outside weather conditions, temperature changes, and loud noises.
Certified Sprinkler Fitter Apprentice Compensation/Benefits:
We offer competitive compensation and benefits, including:
- $28/hr and $80/day per diem
- $27/hr and $90/day per diem
- $26.50/hr and $100/day per diem
- Up to $35/hr for local commuters
- Weekly direct deposit.
- Paid time off (PTO) and holidays.
- Medical coverage through Anthem BCBS.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
