Description
We are looking for a Front Desk Representative to undertake all receptionist and clerical duties at the desk. You will be the “face” of the company for all visitors and will be responsible for the first impression we make.
The ideal candidate will have a friendly and easy going personality while also being very perceptive and disciplined. You should be able to deal with complaints and give accurate information. A customer-oriented approach is essential.
The goal is to make guests and visitors feel comfortable and valued while on our premises.
- Flexibility is important. Shifts: 7am-3pm 3pm-11pm and sometimes 11pm-7am Holidays, Weekends.
- Greet and welcome guests
- Answer customer questions
- Answering questions and addressing concerns
- Screen and direct incoming calls and emails
- Record and relay messages
- File paperwork
- Maintain inventory and restock supplies when necessary
- Maintain a clean reception area
- Keeping front desk tidy and presentable with all necessary material
Requirements:
- Proven experience as front desk representative.
- Familiarity with office machines (Visual Matrix. fax, printer.)
- Knowledge of office procedures.
- Proficient in English (oral and written)
- Strong communication and people skills.
- Success working as a team!
- Help sort, wash, and fold linen and terry.
- Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
- Adaptability.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Customer service.
- High School diploma; additional qualifications will be a plus
- Attention to detail.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- One year of Front Desk Agent experience at a hotel
- Experience with Visual Matrix (preferred)
