Title: Assembler
Location: Independence MO
Type: Contract
WORKING HOURS: 7am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform general assembly of products according to product specifications and engineering drawings.
- Conduct necessary inspections of products in accordance with Quality Procedures.
- Construct hatch cover structures using fiberglass, resins, and other structural materials.
- Utilize various hand tools, including pneumatic tools.
- Interpret work instructions accurately.
- Ensure safety compliance, including wearing appropriate PPE, and maintain a tidy work area.
- Collaborate effectively within a team structure.
- Perform additional duties as required.
- Proficiency in using common hand tools.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Capability to interpret and apply standards.
- Ability to stand for approximately 8 hours per day.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 35 lbs.
- Ability to work in an enclosed cave environment.
- Ability to work on uneven surfaces.
