Job responsibilities:
Responsible for providing support and maintenance on center servers, routers, switches, and software in compliance with government and management directives.
Essential Functions:
- Maintain proficiency with different software applications, assist staff with software-related products, and utilize various software applications to help manage common tasks.
- Maintain current users and t end connections to center networks, monitor, maintain and resolve problems with all related hardware and software.
- Perform hardware maintenance and repair for all network and non-network personal computers, printers, and terminals.
- Ensure backup tapes of network programs and data files remain current.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Associate’s degree in computer science or information technology
- Three (3) years experience. Directly related training may be considered in lieu of experience requirements.
- Must have working knowledge of network administration tasks using Microsoft server.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Valid driver’s license in the state of work with an acceptable driving record required.
