Our company is seeking a highly motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Delivery Driver. The successful candidate should be organized, conscientious, very careful, and able to focus in a fast-paced environment. Lifting heavy sacks of vegetables and heavy crates and boxes are part of the job, so candidates must also be very physically fit. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working alone and able to easily communicate with Spanish Speakers
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck to deliver goods to customers in a timely manner.
- Utilize pallet jacks to load and unload merchandise.
- Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring accurate and friendly interactions.
- Follow designated routes for efficient delivery and optimal time management.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and customers effectively.
Qualifications
- Delivery driver experience
- Ability to lift heavy items
- Excellent communication skills
- Customer service experience
- Proficiency in driving vans and box trucks
- Ability to operate a pallet jack
- Previous route driving experience.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 45 per week
