THE OPPORTUNITYWe are now seeking a Sales Operations Manager of our packaging and fabrication business unit located in New Iberia, LA.
The Sales Operations Manager will provide financial oversight to a diverse team of sales, packaging technicians, project managers, and others with an objective to meet sales and profit goals as well as achieve efficient operations within the business unit. The ideal candidate will have a foundation in Finance and Accounting complemented by practical experience in business management.
YOUR CONTRIBUTION
  • Oversee, advise, and evaluate a dynamic sales force to achieve sales and profit goals
  • Provide full accountability for financial statements, including P&L and GL statements
  • Direct the purchasing, inventory, and production processes to ensure that orders are timely, accurately, and efficiently met
  • Manage the bid, quote, invoicing, and collections process
  • Coordinate freight and delivery of finished products to customers
  • Directly supervise at least one employee
  • Produce weekly, monthly, and annual production, sales, and financial reports
  • Apply sound financial and accounting principles to all business unit processes
  • Participate in principal trade and professional association activities to keep abreast of economic conditions and business opportunities; and
Most Important Qualifications
  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree; Accounting or Finance degree preferred
  • Required: Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Required: Strong knowledge and skills of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Required: Valid Driver's License with clean driving record
  • Highly Preferred: 5 years of sales and management experience
