Our Client is seeking a motivated professional to work as a Direct Support Professional in the Silver Spring, MD, Adelphi, Hyattsville and DC areas.Summary Of Client's Description Of This Opportunity
- Provide supportive services for children receiving Transitional Living Services in various locations including residential shelters, detention, day/community services or the child's home
- Fill in as assigned for any aide-level position in Residential services
- Document all activities specific to shift or service activity
- Ensure compliance with safe work practices and maintain safe environment in compliance with established agency standards, licensing regulations, and generally accepted practices
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or its equivalent
- Willingness and ability to provide direct care and supportive services as needed
- Valid Driver's License
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- Crisis Prevention Institute Certification (preferred)
- AMAP certification (preferred)
- Establish a relationship with one of the nation's largest referral agencies for behavioral-health
- Increase or decrease your schedule at your discretion: choose opportunities that best fit your schedule.
- Compensation processed weekly
