QualificationsEducation/Certification:Bachelor’s degree in educational technology, computer science or related field
Must be able to successfully meet security clearance requirements in compliance with Texas Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) access policy which also includes DPS background checks through the Texas Education Agency and Law Enforcement Agency.
Special Knowledge/SkillsKnowledge of computer network, hardware, and software applications
Knowledge of computer applications development and implementation
Knowledge of alignment to curriculum and instruction
Knowledge of CJIS, preferred
Ability to manage budget and personnel; coordinate district function; implement policy and procedure
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to implement policy and procedures
Ability to interpret data and present data
ExperienceThree years experience in supervision and management of an information systems department for a large organization preferred (Student population of 5K or larger)
