Hutchinson Manufacturing is seeking a Production Coordinator to join our team! This is a 1st Shift- 5 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Thursday opportunity.

Our manufacturing space is in Hutchinson, Minnesota. We can perform virtually all metal, steel fabrication, machining, cladding, welding, finished processes, and assembly processes on site.

Summary:

The purpose of this role is to provide production support by the coordination of staging of materials, moving materials, distribute machining schedules, and monitors & maintains machining inventory throughout the machining department and other departments, as needed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include the following:

• Coordinate and stage materials for complex, multi-part jobs throughout the shop and other departments.
• Issue and deliver raw materials to the machining department.
• Print and distribute machining schedules.
• Move completed parts off machines to the next operations.
• Manage raw material staging area and maintain accurate inventories.
• Attend production meetings and push product according to the production schedule.
• The position does require to be on your feet all day- Must have the ability to stoop, bend, and stand all day.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D
• 2-3 years related experience in manufacturing.
• Solid computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Experience with Epicor ERP Software.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

Individuals working in an office setting will not endure some of the physical & work environments conditions of the production floor unless office is adjacent to the production floor or per the individuals job duties and/ or responsibilities. All office personnel must abide by the PPE guidelines (safety glasses, safety-toed boots that are provided per the company policy guidelines) when entering the production floor or if a requirement of a department that individual is entering or working in.

Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
