Turf Rehab is Hiring a Landscape Foreman Near Huron, OH

Position Overview

  • We are currently seeking a dedicated Landscape Foreman to join our team. The Foreman will be responsible for overseeing a 2-3 person crew and managing various aspects of turf maintenance and landscaping projects. This position requires a combination of leadership skills, hands-on experience, and a strong understanding of lawn care techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a 2-3 person crew, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Operate heavy equipment, including mini-skidsteer and mini-excavator, for various landscaping and turf maintenance tasks. Drive truck and trailer to transport equipment, materials, and crew members to job sites. Properly regrade lawns to improve drainage and overall appearance. Ensure timely arrival at job sites and maintain a positive attitude while working with clients and team members. Install plants and maintain landscaping elements according to design specifications. Utilize basic landscaping skills to enhance the aesthetic appeal of outdoor spaces.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in turf management and landscaping. A 2 or 4-year degree in lawn and landscape management, horticulture, or a related field is preferred but not required. Proficiency in cool-season grasses and ornamental trees commonly found in Ohio. Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a small crew. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
