Aviation and Missile Solutions, Inc. (AMS) is seeking a dynamic Facility Security Officer (FSO) to join our Huntsville Team. The Facility Security Officer (FSO) manages, administers and coordinates the industrial security program of the Company and other security activities to ensure compliance with Government and company security policies and procedures. The FSO is responsible for the security of the company in matters of classified processing, safeguarding, access control of personnel security and physical security. The FSO will process and review personnel security clearances and maintain all security documentation, files, and clearance and suitability rosters in accordance with government requirements. The FSO will have a detailed understanding of 32 CFR Part 117, the National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM) and general security requirements for DOD and other Federal agencies.

• In this role you will manage the corporate CAGE code, assist in establishing new CAGE codes for division or branch offices as well as sponsoring facility clearances (FCLs).
• You will participate in the Insider Threat program, Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) security reviews, yearly self-inspections, security training and education development.
• As the FSO, you will participate in the development of corporate security polices and processes.
• You will review DD Form 254s and validate clearance information in the Defense Information System for Security and as well as facility data in National Industrial Security System.
• This position will provide development and oversight of all aspects of program security for collateral and DoD Special Access Programs.
• This broad role includes the management of an overall program security posture to ensure compliance with corporate and government regulations.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of security experience
• Direct experience with DOD, policies, and program security execution
• Solid understanding of Special Access Programs (SAPs)
• Experience in leading a professional staff, demonstrating strong leadership skills
• Familiar with DCSA, DISS, NISS, ACCS
• Information Management Systems, Access Control Systems, and other security-related databases
• Strong understanding of the DD Form 254 process

Security Requirements

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess and maintain a current/active Final Top Secret Clearance.
