Leidos Defense Systems is seeking a talented Configuration Management T3 to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. We have offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform project management support and configuration management support.
• CM artifact tracking, meeting minutes, tracking meeting actions, JIRA site management, Confluence site management.
• Perform technical writing.
• Perform basic software testing basic hardware testing.
• Perform logistical support.
• Candidate will be responsible for managing software releases including the creation of delivery Checksums, managing the purchasing of support licenses for project labs, and interfacing directly with project groups to track project-based changes.
• Administrator of a Change Control Board (CCB).
• Candidate will be detail orientated, with a strong grasp of software development workflows (both waterfall and agile) and be capable of designing and maintaining a ticket-based workflow system for projects in JIRA or similar workflow management software.
• Strong organizational and technical writing skills with a general understanding of information technology, software development, cyber security, and systems integration.

Required Qualifications

• Candidate must have 4 years’ experience working in an information technology or configuration management role and have a Bachelor's degree or higher relating to information archive, library sciences, data organization, Information Technology, or Information Systems.
• Candidate must have experience with Microsoft Office including Visio, MS Project, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance.

Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
