March-Westin was founded in Morgantown, West Virginia in 1984. We are a contractor with extensive experience in design-build, general contracting, and construction management for commercial clients. We currently employ between 100-150 individuals.

Position Overview:

Seeking a job site superintendent for general contractor March Westin Co Inc. This individual will work directly with the project manager, administration staff, and subcontractors to complete projects within quality, time, and budget standards.

This position will be based out of Charleston/Huntington, WV and surrounding areas.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Leads, directs, and oversees the daily construction activities at work site.

Can schedule workers, delivery of equipment, and materials.

Works with contractors to complete projects within a given budget and timeframe.

Able to communicate directives and discuss issues effectively.

Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Resolve contract disputes.

Able to document effectively using company procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

Five years of experience in a leadership position in commercial construction.

Able to read and interpret blueprints easily.

Basic understanding of a cost report and the ability to use it as a tool.

Attention to detail. Ability to multi task. Decisive. Self-managing.

Basic computer skills. Ability to communicate effectively over email. Know how to join online video meetings such as Zoom and Teams. Know how to use Procore, or other online construction specific websites/services (willing to train for specific computer programs).
