JOB SUMMARY
The Supplier Performance Manager (SPM) is responsible for monitoring, analyzing and taking action with regard to supplier performance for material supply. The SPM interacts with internal cross-functional groups and suppliers to define, coordinate, and deploy improvement activities utilizing project management and operational tools.

- Monitor supplier performance on purchase order level, initiate appropriate short term corrective actions in case of deficiencies and interact with Supply Chain Integrators for long term actions.
- Perform onsite supplier audits and evaluations related to: Compliance, Capacity, Production / Change Management, Supply Chain, Quality, Equipment/Tooling Management, etc. and ensure closure of all findings and action items.
- Utilize proper methodology and tools to improve the supplier performance based on the previous assessment results.
- Hold accountability for the on-going management of standard supplier KPIs, generated from the central system.
- Identify trends and poor performing suppliers and take action as necessary to improve supplier performance and capability.
- Create regular supplier performance summary reports and correlating corrective action plans.
- Cooperate with suppliers on action plans for improvements and recovery efforts.
- Ensure the consistency of initiated improvement actions with all supply chain stakeholders.
- Provide support to Procurement and Quality departments in supplier action plans in case of recurring performance deviations, escalate issues until acceptable performance is reached.
- Monitor and update the supplier risk register, ensure key issues are flagged to the business, and develop a plan to drive internal actions and improvements at suppliers to mitigate and eliminate risks.
- Improve lead-times and delivery reliability by implementing mid-term and long term solutions with suppliers.
- Actively participate in sourcing governance and processes.
- Create customized ad-hoc data extracts and reports on request by interfacing functions.
- Provide support to site buyers / procurement specialists, as needed.
- Prepare status reports and create supplier Key Performance Indicators.
- Cooperate with people of different levels inside and outside the company, interact with teams to reach team goals and business objectives on a very high level.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS Education, Knowledge, and Experience
Education:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineer, Business or Supply Chain Management, or equivalent work experience is required
- Masters Degree is preferred
Experience:
- 5 years supply chain experience as a supply chain buyer, preferably in aircraft interiors knowledge
- 3 years experience in Supplier Performance related field work
- Experience with AS9100, AS9102 and Boeing & Airbus commercial aircraft contract requirements
Skills:
- Knowledge of Boeing and Airbus specifications for aircraft seat systems
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements of EASA and FAA for aircraft seat systems
- Proficient in MRP systems and Inventory Management
Other:
- May be asked to work extended or irregular hours as required
- Will be asked to travel globally to source and secure supply chain suppliers
- Often asked to travel on short notice

Salary Range Transparency: $90,000 - $130,000 annually, depending on candidate qualifications
