Title: Training Coordinator/Instructor

Location: Hugo, MN

Setting: Onsite (Mostly in Hugo, MN, with some travel to plants and service centers to provide training)

Pay: $37.50/hr on W2

Duration: 12-month contract, possible extension/conversion

Position Summary

• Team is responsible for providing safety and compliance training to the enterprise. Looking to bring someone in who has experience a training instructor background, in some capacity.
• There is a main training center where majority of the training is conducted out of (Hugo, MN), however, this role will require a bit of traveling to different plants and service centers throughout the territory. Training materials are in place regarding the content that is to be presented during the training
• Will work with a team of 3 to provide training to the company

Qualifications:

• Targeting 5 years of experience.
• As a trainer, the ability to connect with people while conducting training is extremely important. Resource must have strong communication skills. Expect that this resource has previous experience as a trainer; preferably someone who has conducted safety training or experience being a part a safety organization that has a firm understanding of OSHA requirements/regulations and how they apply to the organization, specifically, the training requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint) and strong presentation skills.
• Must have a valid drives license and be willing/able to travel. Use of personal vehicle is required.
