Helping Hans Homecare is looking for 1-2 nurses to work at a home care setting in the Hudsonville/Jenison area. We have two brothers (29 and 34) with Duchenne's Muscular Dystrophy that need care in their home. Both of them are power wheelchair bound, have tracheostomies and are 24/7 mechanical ventilator dependent. They require full assist with everything that they do. Both are fully verbal, cognitively intact and are 100% capable of dictating their care. They live with their parents. Previous homecare experience with trach and ventilator is ideal, but not required. Everything you need to know will be trained on the job. Hours range from 9:00am - midnight. Meet and greet will be required prior to starting and ultimately the clients are the boss and their comfort with a caregiver is paramount. Hours generally start out slow and as they get comfortable with you will expand.
Experience:
-previous home health care experience is a bonus, but not a requirement
- comfort with vent and trach care and willingness to learn

Pay:
- Starting at $36.00 per hour paid as a biweekly 1099 with direct deposit.
