Phillips-Medisize is Hiring a Molding Technician Near Hudson, WI
Our TeamPhillips-Medisize, a Molex Company is an end-to-end provider of innovation, development, and manufacturing solutions to the pharmaceutical, diagnostics and medical device industries.
What You Will Do
- Setup, start up, and change over production jobs consistent with process control capabilities and quoted standards. May include robotics, part pickers and vision systems
- Setup and operate job related equipment including molding machines, lift trucks, overhead cranes, and power mold carts
- Use proper process procedure documentation and databases for performing routine setup functions and troubleshooting work
- Evaluate molding processes in order to update techniques and improve quality, safety, and productivity efficiencies. Ensure the processes fall within validated windows or within the established guidelines
- Communicate important information to Mold Techs on the next shift
- Work with production group to meet production demands
- Evaluate functionality of tools and make recommendations for modifications as needed.
- Help create production documentation to ensure repeatable and reliable work cell set-ups.
- Assist with work cell layouts and ergonomic improvements.
- Sustain current 6S practices and improve 6S sustainment in other areas.
- A minimum of 1 year of molding experience
- Mechanical/troubleshooting experience
- Experience with “Setup and Tear Down” of molding equipment
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
