Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various accounting principles and practices, particularly community association management, to ensure the financial integrity of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Perform account analysis and reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records
- Utilize knowledge of debits and credits to record transactions accurately
- Apply governmental accounting standards and regulations to financial reporting
- Provide expertise in technical accounting matters, including GAAP, SOX, and securities law compliance
- Conduct general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Utilize software such as Quicken for financial management
Skills:
- Proficiency in account analysis and reconciliation
- Strong understanding of debits and credits
- Knowledge of technical accounting standards including GAAP, SOX, and securities law
- Familiarity with Quicken software for financial management
- Ability to perform general ledger reconciliation accurately
