Giga Energy is Hiring an Order Manager Near Houston, TX
Order ManagerAs Giga Energy's Order Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers post-sale and pre-delivery. Your main focus will be to provide exceptional customer service and keep customers informed about their order status throughout the production process. In order to be successful, you must work closely with Giga Energy's sales, product operations, and logistics teams to ensure customers receive timely and accurate updates. Additionally, as the Order Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining order tracking and ensuring a smooth handoff to the Logistics Coordinator for final delivery.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers after a sale is closed and until the order is handed off for final delivery
- Provide regular updates to customers via phone and email regarding their order status, including production photos, updated timelines, and any relevant changes
- Communicate with the product operations team in China to gather accurate order status information
- Maintain detailed records of each order and customer communication
- Ensure a seamless handoff to the Logistics Coordinator for final delivery
- Foster strong relationships with both internal teams and customers
- Identify and escalate any potential issues or delays in the production process
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Proven experience in customer service, with a track record of successfully managing customer relationships
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and internal teams
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage multiple orders simultaneously
- Detail-oriented and committed to providing accurate updates to customers
- Able to work under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines
- Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) is a big plus
- Familiarity with manufacturing and production processes
