CU Alliance is Hiring a LOAN OFFICER Near Houston, TX

We are looking for experienced, self-starting Licensed Loan Partner/Loan Officers to respond to customer inquiries and referrals that are generated through our local business channels. The MLO conducts interviews with prospective borrowers in order to analyze financial and credit data, determine customer financing objectives, advise customers of product/pricing policies and guidelines, and gather any additional required information. The MLO maintains a thorough knowledge of lending programs, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. The MLO continually demonstrates a commitment to professional ethics, complying with all Federal and State compliance policies and adhering to HMDA requirements.

One must possess an NMLS license to originate mortgage loans in Texas and be willing to obtain other state licenses. We are also in Missouri, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Louisiana, North Carolina, Illinois, and Ohio.

Job Description:

The MLO responds to customer inquiries and referrals that are generated from both their own contacts and from Member Home Loan, LLC business channels. The MLO conducts interviews with prospective borrowers in order to analyze financial and credit data, determine customer financing objectives, advise customers of product/pricing policies and guidelines, and gather any additional required information. The MLO maintains a thorough knowledge of lending programs, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. The MLO continually demonstrates a commitment to professional ethics, complying with all Federal and State compliance policies and adhering to HMDA requirements.

The Mortgage Loan Officer

· Develops and maintains successful relationships with business referral sources, existing and prospective, along with Member Home Loan, LLC business partners.

· Prospects new mortgage lending opportunities.

· Meets with customers as necessary during various stages of the loan process.

· Utilizes Member Home Loan, LLC training materials, reference tools, and other resources to provide accurate and up-to-date loan program/policy information to both external customers and internal business partners.

· Provides complete loan applications to be put into processing.

· Ensures exceptional customer experience by overseeing the loan process from origination to close and providing ongoing communication to customers and business partners.

· Achieves production goals as established by Member Home Loan, LLC.

· Oversees and ensures the successful completion of all assigned Mortgage Loan Officer Training activities.

ACTIVITIES/TASKS – on a day to day basis

Loan Application Process

· Meet with prospective borrowers.

· Review / Analyze credit and financial data.

· Determine borrower financing objectives and goals.

· Present appropriate Member Home Loan, LLC products, and programs and explain guidelines.

· Appraise pricing and lock rate as required.

· Identify appropriate opportunities to sell additional products.

· Collect supporting loan documentation as required and provide a complete package to Mortgage Loan Processor.

Loan Management

· Work with Production Manager, Mortgage Loan Processors, Sales Assistant’s and directly with operations to ensure that loan docs are submitted to processing in the highest quality possible as established by Member Home Loan, LLC.

· Work with EVP, Operations Manager, Production Manager, Mortgage Loan Processors, Sales Assistant’s and directly with operations to ensure that loan conditions are met.

· Partner with EVP, Production Manager, and Mortgage Loan Processors with ongoing communication to the customer regarding loan status.

· Update Realtors/Builders or any professional referral source on loan status once a week (on Fridays) using the Email Loan Status Update flyer.

· Utilize existing LOS to check for notes and conditions.

Professional Development

· Attend and complete all Member Home Loan, LLC required training.

· Maintain current and thorough knowledge of all lending programs, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

· Perform all job functions in accordance with Member Home Loan, LLC policies and procedures.

· The company’s Non-Compete and Confidentiality Agreement must be signed.
