Job Description:The Security Analyst will investigate cybersecurity events and incidents, analyze security data, and develop and implement security strategies to protect organization information systems against malicious intent. This position will also assist in deploying cybersecurity solutions, code evaluation, penetration testing, and risk assessments. Roles and Responsibilities:Monitor, analyze, and respond to threat alerts using existing security tools. Performs periodic vulnerability scanning to identify potential security risks, on-prem and cloud networks, systems, software, and applications.Co-monitors systems and network devices patching cadence to ensure security patches are up to date and patchable vulnerabilities are mitigated.Act as part of the cybersecurity incident response team.Conduct forensic analysis of cyber-attacks to determine the source of the attack and how to prevent similar attacks in the future.Documents technical procedures and creates knowledge base articles for the support team when needed.Assist with the deployment, integration, and configuration of all new security solutions and any enhancements to existing security solutions in accordance with industry best practices. Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field to Information Technology from an accredited institution of higher educationDemonstrated experience with Firewalls and or Firewall managementDemonstrated experience with DLP solution2 years of Cyber Security forensics experience2 years of experience with Active Directory and or Azure AD Experience in Web development, scripting, or programming languagesExperience with Microsoft on-premises and cloud securityExperience working in or managing a SIEM.
