Dream of being around dogs all day? If so, we would love to have you come join our pack. We are looking for fun, and energetic camp counselors to help our doggy campers have the time of their lives while they are with us. If this sounds amazing then we can't wait to meet you!

Primary Functions:

• Evaluate dog behavior, reactions, and interactions with other dogs to complete the initial dog screening evaluations, also called “Interviews.”
• Feed dogs and administer medications as directed.
• Monitor play yards for dogs of all sizes.
• Maintain continuous focus and attention to dog interactions
• Observe and learn animal behavior and signs of aggression in order to appropriately assign dogs to the proper play yards which will require listening and distinguishing between dog vocalizations, distress barks, etc.
• Perform dog health checks throughout the day.
• Clean play yards, cabins and all common spaces: mopping, sweeping, and scrubbing.
• Perform dog washes, nail trims, and other basic dog grooming tasks.
• Perform janitorial duties like basic kennel maintenance.

Education/Experience:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• MUST BE 18
• Have at least minimal experience with dogs that have NOT lived in your home.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $9.00 - $11.00 per hour

Day range:

• Every weekend
• Monday to Friday

• 4 hour shift
