Description:

• Perform complex design investigation, analyses, feasibility studies, and computer-aided design (CAD) for new components or products using customer-supplied data

• Design and produce drawings including Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), General Arrangement layouts (GAs) and As Builts

• Illustrate systems/special assemblies from specifications, source control drawings, sketches, models, prototypes or verbal instructions

• Recommend and implement design changes to resolve field problems

• Evaluate prototypes for design modifications to improve product performance and reliability

• Possess and maintain familiarity with applicable product materials and production processes

• Create bills of material (BOM) with the ability to manipulate electronic standard to create new special equipment

• Determine, verify, maintain, and manage detailed information/product specifications in PDM system

• Assist in the assurance that company operating and cost efficiencies are obtained, quality and safety standards are achieved, and customer delivery deadlines are met

• Performs projects and tasks as assigned by Director Engineering or Director of Research and Development

• Other duties as assigned
