RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide general reception and department phone duties.
• Prepare department informational documents, as directed.
• Assist with creating electronic enrollment records.
• Prepare and maintain spreadsheets for documentation of attendance and membership hours.
• Received and process special education referrals.
• Collaborate with Early Childhood Family Education and Preschool office staff to fully support the Early Learning program.
• Support with the reviewing and submitting of transportation forms; communicate with parents, licensed staff, and the transportation department as needed.
• Manage department calendar for utilization of space.
• Process district staff requests to access interpreters for special education needs.
• Copy and fax as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of high school diploma or GED required. Some business school training is preferred.

Computer skills as noted : word processing (Word); database management (Excel); google suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, Calendar);

districtwide web-based systems (Infinite Campus), e-mail and district staff reporting and purchasing system (Skyward).

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work within deadlines.
• Ability to work independently with frequent interruptions.
• Ability to attend work regularly and report to work in a timely manner.

Note : Testing is required for this position. Applicants must show proficiency in technology and clerical skills.
