Job Summary:
Express Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated Speech Pathologist for a 13-week contract. This full-time position offers a day shift schedule, providing an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to make a significant impact in a short-term role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' specific needs.
- Document detailed therapy data, including patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Monitor and identify changes in patients' physical and emotional parameters related to speech and communication.
- Review and modify treatment plans based on patient progress and feedback.
- Instruct patients on techniques to monitor their speech and practice new skills.
- Ensure documentation complies with legal, policy, and administrative regulations.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
- Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience: Previous experience in speech therapy, preferably in a clinical setting.
- Skills: Strong clinical, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to develop effective treatment plans.
- Certifications: Certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day shift
- Position Type: Full-time
- Pay: $56/hr
