Job Summary:
We are seeking a BCaBA (board certified assistant behavior analyst) to provide support to children's with special and family's. The right candidate will be able to empathize with struggling students and possess a strong sense of self-motivation and organization. The BCaBA will also be responsible for working with parents and teachers, effectively implementing student and classroom management techniques, and building long-lasting relationships with all members of the team.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments to determine behavioral needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement applied behavior analysis techniques to address behavioral challenges and promote skill development
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care and effective treatment outcomes
- Provide ongoing supervision and training to behavior technicians and other staff members
- Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to provide education and support regarding behavioral interventions
Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCaBA)
- Bachelor's or master's degree in applied behavior analysis, psychology, special education, or related field
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and patient care principles
- Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and interpretation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
